Inspiration often comes from unexpected things.
The iconic electron accelerator at the Weizmann Institute has been familiar to me ever since I was a teenager, when I used to wander around the campus with my girlfriend or attend an afternoon workshop there.
This week, I came to the Institute for a work meeting about a project we’re doing for researchers in the field of biology.
But when I saw the accelerator, a completely different association came to mind.
We believe in engineering courage — in trying new and more efficient ways than the familiar ones.
That’s the only way to build innovation that leads to better products.
But entrepreneurs, too, must bring courage — there’s no way around it. Guts are a critical ingredient in innovation.
